Dr. Seth Owusu-Agyei

Dr. Seth Owusu-Agyei, has been the Director of the Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC) since 2002. He is an epidemiologist with extensive experience in the design and conduct of clinical and field intervention trials. Dr Owusu-Agyei obtained his PhD training in Malaria Epidemiology at the Swiss Tropical Institute, Basel, Switzerland (2001). He worked at the Navrongo Health Research Centre, Ministry of Health, Ghana as a Senior Health Research Scientist & Head of Biomedical Department until his transfer to head the KHRC, Ministry of Health, Ghana. He was appointed as the Director of the KHRC and also worked on part-time basis as a Lecturer in the Departments of Epidemiology & Population Health and Infectious Tropical Diseases, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and as Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana, Legon.
