INDEPTH & Comic Relief/GSK Researchers' and Data Managers' Meeting in Dodowa, Ghana
On 5th & 6th December, 2017, the Comic Relief & GSK project on Strengthening Quality Malaria Care in Ghana held a Researchers’ & Data Managers’ meeting at the Dodowa Health Research Centre. The 2-day workshop was aimed at bringing Data Managers and Researchers from the three project sites (Navrongo, Kintampo and Dodowa) and AMMREN to finalise the quantitative and qualitative data collection tools which will be used in the first quarter of 2018. There were three objectives to this meeting, all of which were fruitfully accomplished:
(1) to finalise the data collection tool;
(2) to ensure that the final data collection tools adequately covered the indicators as set out in the MEL Plan and;
(3) to upload the surveys onto the REDCap platform and get them ready to be used on tablets for the surveys.
Nine participants attended the meeting, two from each of the four partners named above and Dr. Mamusu Kamanda from the INDEPTH Resource and Training Centre who facilitated the meeting.
