Background
- The Goal of the Workshop is to follow up on the Durban 2014 deliberations by the Group regarding the analysis of the INDEPTH data on the repository and INDEPTHStats
Objectives:
1) Prepare the data and do preliminary analysis to characterise the demographic and epidemiological transitios in LMICs using INDEPTH data
2) Prepare the data and do preliminary analysis to explain the effect of population mobility on the epidemiological transition using INDEPTH data
3) Prepare the data and do preliminary spatio-temproal analyses of cause-specific mortality using INDEPTH data
Expected Outcomes:
1) Datasets ready for the group to pursue the three objectives
2) Choice of appropriate analytical methods
3) Preliminary results
4) Concrete plan for final analysis and scientific writing
