Objectives: |
The workshop has the following objectives:
- a. To discuss details of the iHOPE project
- b. To agree specific activities and timelines of the project
- c. To review the literature on various methodologies of measuring Out-of-Pocket (OOP) health care payment
- d. To develop a draft instrument for measuring OOP.

Expected Outcomes: |
By the end of the workshop, the following outcomes are expected:
- a. An understanding of the iHOPE protocol and what it seeks to achieve
- b. A detailed outline of the activities to be undertaken and timelines for those activities
- c. A draft broad literature of the methodological issues of OOP payment
- d. A draft instrument/questionnaire for piloting
