DDI of NCD Data

DDI of NCD data: Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) is an effort to create an international standard for describing social and behaviourial science data. DDI is for content, presentation, transport, and preservation of documentation for datasets in the social and behavioural sciences. INDEPTH Network stands to benefit from its usage since it will ensure standardisation and re-usage of data. Its descriptive nature will also help the broader scientific community, as data will be better described and be in a form that is internationally recognised. INDEPTH will contribute towards supporting its centres to document their data in conformity with international standards.
