Professor Abdisalan Noor visits INDEPTH Secretariat

Professor Abdisalan Noor from Harvard School of Public Health visited the INDEPTH Secretariat on May 31, 2004. He had discussions with the staff of INDEPTH. Present at the meeting were the Executive Director of INDEPTH - Prof. Philip Adongo, Prof. Fred Binka, Prof. George Armah (Noguchi) and other staff of the secretariat. Prof Noor informed the meeting that he was engaged in improving data use in African countries, He added that industry was looking for credible groups such as INDEPTH to work  with. On his part, Prof. Adongo gave an update the progress made with thr "Re-booting" of INDEPTH. The two sides agreed to have follow up discussions of areas that had been identified for possible collaboration.
