Prof. Abdramane Soura joined the Ouagadougou HDSS in Burkina Faso as HDSS Manager for its pilot phase in 2001 after a Bachelor Degree in Statistics from the National School of Statistics in Dakar, Senegal. From October 2003 to June 2009, he completed a Masters and a PhD programme in Demography at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. Dr. Soura became the Ouagadougou HDSS centre leader in December 2012. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso.
