A Local Events Calendar is a list of important dates of local political, historical, religious or social
significance that is required to assist recall of dates in the distant past and timing of past vital
events that will be recorded during data collection. These can be memorable local, national or
international event such as wars, famine, droughts, epidemics, harvests, or independence days.
