Dr. Frank Odhiambo

Former Centre Leader, Kisumu HDSS, Kenya

Dr. Frank Ouma Odhiambo is the KEMRI/CDC HDSS Branch Chief, KEMRI-CGHR, Kisumu, Kenya.

He studied Zoology at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, Kenya; Public Health Epidemiology at the Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya; and obtained his PhD in Epidemiology from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Dr. Odhiambo has been the Branch Chief of the HDSS since 2009. In this position, he leads and facilitates demographic research and analyses; provides technical advice to external organizations such as the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) or the Ministry of Health (MOH); and, advises the Field Station Director and other senior staff or investigators on matters of social demography.
