The Iganga-Mayuge Health & Demographic Surveillance Site (IMHDSS) is located astride the two eastern Uganda districts of Iganga and Mayuge. The site is about 120 kilometres or 2.5 hours drive east of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, along the Uganda-Kenya highway.
