Mr. Bharat Choudhari

Bharat Choudhari is working as HDSS coordinator at Vadu HDSS since 2014, and prior to this he worked more than 10 years as senior field research supervisor. His research interest is in demographic research, epidemiology and social science. He completed his master degree in politics from Pune university in 2004. Further, he was primary responsible for HDSS data collection training, data cleaning and management of HDSS field activities including verbal autopsy. He also involved in different research studies where he conducted training on spirometry, GPS data collection, anthropometric data. Additionally, he was designing sampling strategies and development of study tools. Bharat’s interested research in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. He was actively involved in previous Indepth workshop such as INTERC, INDEPTH/ALPHA workshop on verbal autopsy and Inter-VA workshop. He co-authored publication on Malaria mortality in Africa and Asia: evidence from INDEPTH health and demographic surveillance system sites in International Journal of Global Health Action in 2014.
