Spatial analysis of mortality

Objectives:
The workshop has the following objectives: 

1. Develop a foundation for rigorous thinking about what it means for data to express relationships in space.
2. Exploratory Bayesian spatial data analysis covering concepts akin to nonparametric smoothing, priors, andMCMC in spatial statistical analysis.

Expected Outcomes:

By the end of the workshop, the following outcomes are expected:

1. Participants will acquire basic skills in Bayesian spatial analysis and a strong sense of the appropriate workflow as they seek to pursue their own research goals.
2. Draft papers on spatial differences in child mortality
