Dr Dela Kusi-Appouh

Dr. Kusi-Appouh is a trained sociologist, gender and policy analyst, and social demographer. Her research interests include sexual and reproductive health; gender; youth/adolescents; family planning; family dynamics; social networks; key and hard-to-reach populations; and policy analysis. Dr. Kusi-Appouh is well versed in both qualitative and quantitative research methods as well as study planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. She earned a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from Agnes Scott College as well as an MSc. and PhD in Development Sociology from Cornell University. Dela is currently a Staff Associate at the Population Council and works in the Ghana office.
