INDEPTH ED at the 28th International Population Conference in Cape Town, South Africa
Prof Osman Sankoh, Executive Director of INDEPTH Network played a role at the IUSSP 28th International Population conference in Cape Town, South Africa from 29 October to 4 November 2017. Prof Sankoh was a co-convener for Theme 9: Health, Mortality and Longevity.
INDEPTH was effectively represented at the conference, an exceptional visibility for the Network. The good news is that the immediate past Statistician General of South Africa, Pali Lehohla who is also the Vice Chair of the INDEPTH Board of Trustees was the President of the International Organising Committee (IOC) of the conference. The Vice President of the IOC, Dr Stacey Gage is a member of INDEPTH Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC).
