INDEPTH SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME

WITS SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH

POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION IN 2007

 Applications are invited for admission in 2007 to the following programmes by coursework and research report.

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN THE FIELD OF POPULATION-BASED FIELD EPIDEMIOLOGY: Develops capacity of researchers in longitudinal data management in order to respond to the key public health challenges of the developing countries.  The course includes epidemiology, biostatistics, management of relational databases and leadership in research. Coursework is 18 months full time with a 6-month field placement. Limited number of fellowships available through INDEPTH and from TDR/WHO.
